So...it's been a while since you've been to church.  Maybe a life time.  We know it's a huge risk to come.  So thanks for even considering it!

What Will I Experience on a First Time Visit?
Providence is designed as a series of relevant environments aimed at leading you into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ.  Here's what you can expect when you join us on Sunday:

  • Expect to understand and even enjoy the service.  We try to provide a weekend environment that's relevant to real life...and simple enough that everyone can access and understand it.  The messages are relevant, engaging, and down to earth.
  • Expect great music.  Some of today's best worship music.
  • Expect your kids to love it.  "The Well" is for kids to explore and learn about God in ways that engage them.
  • Expect to find people like you.  Dress comfortably.  Jeans are great.  And when you get here, expect to find people who don't have it all figured out, but like you, are on a journey. Feel free to be yourself.
  • Expect to be as anonymous or as connected as you want to be.  We won't force ourselves on you or make you sign anything, but when you're ready, you'll find a community of people just like you ready to welcome you.

What Will My Spiritual Journey Be Like?
Even though we meet in a temporary site, the total Providence experience functions like a home.

Just like you welcome guests in the foyer and visit with them in your living room, your close friends always end up hanging out with you in the kitchen.  So we designed your spiritual journey that way -- we'll meet for the first time in the foyer, you'll move through the living room, and when you're ready, we'd love to spend great time with you in the kitchen.

Foyer....Our weekend services are a foyer experience, and one that our regular attenders come back to weekly with their friends.  We build our services with the hope that they will become irresistible -- you just want to come back again and again. But in a home, you never want to leave your guests standing at the door too long.

Living Room... At Providence, our living room environments are designed to grow your relationship with God and people.  Our primary living room environments are our strategic service teams (where people serve together) and our Group Link environment that will help you get connected in a community group.

Kitchen... Ultimately our hope is to connect everyone at Providence in a community group which is our primary kitchen environment.  In fact, we hope you will join a community group as soon as you are ready.  We believe life-change happens deepest when people gather in small groups and God is present.

So...join us this weekend at St. John Lutheran Church Gym @ 9:30 or the traditional service in the Sanctuary @11:00 if you would prefer. You're not only invited, we designed it all with you in mind.
